Elon Musk’s daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, recently criticized her father’s comments directed at Taylor Swift, calling them “heinous incel nonsense.” The incident began when Musk responded to Swift’s Instagram post endorsing Kamala Harris for the 2024 presidential election.
Swift had jokingly referred to herself as a “childless cat lady” in the post, prompting Musk to reply on social media, “Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.” This comment was widely perceived as “creepy” and “disturbing” by many, including Wilson, who publicly expressed her disapproval.
Vivian Wilson, who is estranged from her father, took to Instagram Threads to voice her opinion on Musk’s remarks. She described his post as “belittling” and “incredibly sexist,” urging her audience not to tolerate such behavior. Wilson further stated, “Heinous incel nonsense is in fact heinous incel nonsense” and criticized Musk’s ongoing controversial comments and behavior, adding that his remarks were “abhorrent”.
This public exchange adds to the ongoing tension between Musk and his daughter, who has been increasingly vocal about her issues with her father, particularly since her transition and his dismissive comments about her personal life.
So far, Elon Musk has not publicly replied to his daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson’s comments apart from this a statement he dropped on his X’handle.
